Hi folks,

since Constellation is not, for the moment, in a released cycle, and the new renderer not totally tested and strong enough, it doesn't deserve a version number beginning with 1.x

That's why Geomatys' staff have stated the version of the trunk  should be less than 1. It will be 0.3-SNAPSHOT, to follow the tags mechanism begun some months ago.

When this web application service will be strong enough to be used on a production server (hopefully soon), …

The User Guide is coming to life little by little.

It has been totally refactored, and users will be pleased to see a full user guide soon ... Work still in progress ...

The tag 0.2 of Constellation has been created the 5th of August, 2008, and works at revision 737. It is based on the tag 2.5-M3 of Geotools.
It integrates several improves since the first tag, such as :
- Refactoring of Constellation tree : split of the web-service module, move postgrid-web under a gui module and move postgrid under a storage one, ...
- JNDI configuration of the connection pool on Tomcat or Glassfish application server.
- lots of bug fixes and improves, …
