If you have no clue what DamageControl is, go to the #damagecontrol irc channel on irc.codehaus.org or http://build.codehaus.org/log/.

If some of the hausmates are committing code, you'll see that DamageControl checks it out and builds it at realtime. Any build failures will be communicated to a number of communication channels (email, irc, jabber, html pages and more to come).

This fast feedback will help you keep software development projects agile: Development teams can integrate code several times a day with maximum feedback so they can address integration (compile and test) problems instantly.

This can be extremely cost-effective. Fixing anything late is a bad idea. For a more thorough explanation see Cost of change.

Control the damage before the damage controls you.

Can we have some documentation about how to set up a project to use Damagecontrol and how to troubleshoot a project if Damagecontrol stops building it?
